I am a creative director with 15 years of growing do-gooder and feel-gooder brands in the food & bev, retail, and health & wellness industries.
It’s me!
I’ve grown brands in all stages of their businesses while growing a thriving and award-winning creative agency (that’s this one) of my own. I've created award-winning brand identity projects, worked with celebrity clients, positioned brands for going public, and razzle-dazzled the pants off of consumers through creating compelling brand identities. Along the way, I’ve genuinely loved leading, fostering, and mentoring creatives and right-brain personalities.
Let’s Work Together
01 Fractional Creative Director For Hire
This is perfect for you if: you’re building a brand from scratch or ready to evolve your brand at a higher level.
Once upon a time, you could pay for a brand, hand it off to a marketing generalist and coast, unchanged, for years. I know this because I used to say it out loud into client-facing decks and on calls and mean it with my whole heart. We now live in the era of low attention spans and high expectations. ‘Set it and forget it’ brands will set and be forgotten.
Fractional Creative Direction offers another approach: you bring in a specialist (me) who knows where to invest, what to refine, and how to make your brand impossible to overlook. Whether you’re building something new, navigating a major pivot, or just feeling stuck, I deliver the perspective, strategy, and creative spark to move you forward. (Ask me about flamingos, and I’ll deliver you a whole flock.)
What this could look like:
Strategy and oversight across launches, or key brand moments
Creative oversight: management of your design, copy, digital footprints, physical space and brand experiences
Prioritization of projects and content
Constant availability for feedback, gut checks, and “hey, can you look at this real quick?’s”
Leadership of your internal creative team, freelancers, & external vendors
02 Creative Strategy: Rent My Brain
This is perfect for you if: you have a really big project that you don’t know how to prioritize.
Let’s find the biggest projects, tangled thoughts, or pain points and build something magical together. During recurring strategy sessions, we can sort through the chaos and sharpen your story.
What this could look like:
A really big fish: let’s build your brand’s onboarding program. Let’s redesign all 4 of your coffee shops. Let’s tackle your loyalty program. Let’s launch a new branch of your business.
I offer smart strategy and the occasional lovingly blunt opinion followed up with notes, strategic recommendations and action items.
OR; Choose-your-own adventure strategy sessions (brand messaging workshop, customer insight sessions, positioning audits, and more)
03 Build The Dream Team
This is perfect for you if: you’re building a brand from scratch, launching a new branch of your business, or ready to evolve your brand at a higher level.
Rather than hiring a traditional agency with a set roster and fixed talent of varied style and skill, I can curate a perfect team of creatives that aligns with your brand to ensure the output is unmistakably yours. After running an agency for the better part of two decades, team architecture is second nature to me and my network of creative collaborators is brimming.
Me & my team can help with the following:
Brand strategy and positioning
Visual identity + logo design
Environmental and interior design (signage, wayfinding & experiential brand moments)
Copywriting and messaging
CPG packaging design
Website strategy, design, and development
Photography and art direction
Four reasons you should trust me
01 I’m a certified jill of many trades.
I’m a classically trained creative, with degrees in Graphic Design from Parsons New York and writing from the University of Calgary. I have a background in retail and commercial Interior Design. And, while my true love is overseeing creative projects, my creative background lets me roll up my sleeves when needed to get ‘er done. No shade, but most consultants don’t have the credentials to do the work that they offer support in… and I personally think it’s kinda important they do.
02 I’m a small business owner, too.
As an entrepreneur myself, I know where to simplify, and how to bring in the right people to get jobs done properly. I’ve hired, I’ve fired. I’ve started my own companies and closed/sold them - thrice. My bench of phenomenal collaborators is deep. And, this is horribly cliché but I’m gonna say it anyway: after years of working for clients, I am ready to work with clients.
03 I’ve done this before, lots.
At last count, I have directed the launch and scaling of 149 brands. I’ve led some of these brands from name-on-a-napkin to IPO. I’ve hired and worked with the best creatives in the entire businesses, and my network is my biggest asset. I’ve evolved brands and steered their ships through the ever-changing landscape of staying cool and relevant. This isn’t my maiden voyage.
04 The work speaks for itself.
The proof is in the pudding, as they say. See work.
