Wednesday Co. is a sex-positive brand bending all the rules in the bedroom scene. They reached out needing a barrier-breaking name, brand identity and packaging that would stand-out on the shelves of an otherwise extremely predictable and heteronormative market. We created a visual identity and brand voice hell bent on not excluding anyone in the drugstore.
Shopping for contraception often means being overwhelmed with overly masculine branding (cue the Roman soldiers and stallions.) Doing the deed is something folks of all shapes, genders and sexual orientations get done. This is why we picked a playful yet neutral palette of princely purples and juicy orange tones.
